CLASS OFFERING
Our choir instruction blends vocal technique with ensemble skills: students learn proper breath support, vowel shaping, blend and balance, part singing, ear training, and performance etiquette. Whether your child is a natural performer who wants to shine on stage or a quieter student who wants to find their voice in a supportive group setting, our choir program meets every student with warmth, structure, and genuine encouragement.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Choir classes begin with vocal warm-ups that build range, resonance, and breath control in a group setting. From there, students work on repertoire — learning their individual parts and developing the listening skills needed to blend with others. We work on intonation, dynamics, expression, and how to take direction as an ensemble.
Students in choir at Premier also benefit from regular performance opportunities. Singing in front of an audience — from a small studio showcase to a larger recital event — builds confidence and stage presence in a way that individual lessons alone cannot.
Private voice lessons complement choir participation beautifully, and many of our choir students take individual voice lessons alongside their ensemble work to accelerate their personal development.

WHAT WE WORK ON
Our choir curriculum covers a wide range of musical and technical areas, keeping each session varied, engaging, and musically rich.
LESSONS & SCHEDULING
Our choir and ensemble lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60-minute formats — designed to fit the age, experience level, and goals of each student. Most beginners start with 30-minute sessions and progress to longer lessons as their skills develop. We recommend 60-minute lessons for intermediate and advanced students working toward performance or audition goals.
We’re open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at both our North Lakewood Ranch and East Bradenton locations. Flexible rescheduling and a friendly enrollment process make it easy to get started and keep going.
What Our Students
& Families Are Saying
“My daughter is shy by nature and we thought choir might help. It completely transformed her confidence. She looked forward to every single class and was beaming at the performance.”
“The instruction is excellent — structured, fun, and genuinely musical. My son has learned more about listening and working with other musicians than I expected from a choir class. Highly recommend.”
ENROLL TODAY
Not at all. Our choir classes welcome students at all levels, including those with no prior vocal training. The group setting is actually a wonderful low-pressure environment for beginners to develop confidence alongside their peers.
Private voice lessons focus on your individual technique, range, and goals. Choir focuses on ensemble skills — blending, harmonizing, listening, and performing as a group. Many students benefit from doing both, and we offer discounts for students enrolled in multiple programs.
We offer choir and ensemble programming for a range of ages. Contact us to ask about current class groupings and availability at each location — we typically group students by age and experience level.
Yes. Performance is a core part of the choir experience at Premier. Students have the opportunity to perform at our seasonal recitals, school showcases, and community events throughout the year.
Absolutely. The skills developed in our choir classes — sight-singing, part independence, vocal blend, and performance presence — directly translate to stronger school and community choir auditions.
